Richard Slaughter
Senior Pastor
Pastor Richard grew up here in Texas and was called to ministry while in the US Army. After his return home he served in local churches in both youth and children's ministry. Richard is married to his highschool sweetheart Angela for 18 years and they have three children. Pastor Richard has been on staff at FMC El Campo since August 2023.
Carolyn Hoffman
Office Administrator
Carolyn is a native of El Campo, lifelong member of First Methodist Church and has been on staff since January 2022. She and Don married in the Stovall Chapel of FMC on Christmas Eve 2014. She is the stepmother of three adult children and CiCi to five grandchildren who will tell you that her "real" job is to spoil them.
Angela Slaughter
NextGen Ministry Director
Angela grew up serving in the church and has been with Pastor Richard every step of the way. She has served in youth and children's ministry for over 15 years. Angela also has experience in early childhood education.
